Griffin Telecom today announced it has signed a channel partner agreement with Alcatel-Lucent ( Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU ). As a result of this relationship, Griffin Telecom will market, distribute and service Alcatel-Lucent's product line of optics, IP/MPLS, fixed broadband access, and packet microwave.
Griffin was awarded a contract by APR for installation, setup and commissioning of two power plants in Libya. The contract includes civil, electro-mechanical and logistical services. The power stations are 100MW and 50MW respectively. Gas turbines, diesel engines, transformers and other equipment will be installed, configured, and commissioned. The two power plants are to be commissioned before July 1st 2013. More Info
